Sleep baby sleep...

We just asked our facebook friends if they were having difficulty getting their little ones to sleep and the response was instant. We know there are many more parents out there who are finding it hard..around a quarter of children under 5 in the UK have difficulty sleeping - either refusing to go to bed or waking up in the night.

But don't despair - we can help.

Please post us your questions and we will work with you to make sleep time easy as pie.

No more waking up. And no more tears.

  1. Hiya,

I have a 16 month old whom we are still co-sleeping with. However we do want to finish co-sleeping so we can conceive our 4th ;o)

We have tried him in a cot and he hated it, and I don't like the idea of imprisoning him when he is used to the freedom of the bed. If we convert the cotbed to a bed, it may be too small an area for him as he is used to the space of a kingsize.

    Any tips?

  2. Hello,

It's lovely to hear from you.

It is entirely possible for a 16 month old to sleep happily in a low single bed. He will have plenty of space and won't feel restricted at all. If you'd like some advice on some lovely single beds, please let us know and we'll post some options...

As he gets older you could consider placing him on the lower bunk of a bunk bed..sharing a room with his siblings will mean he's not on his own and will remove much of the need to co-sleep with you..so everyone will be happy and sleep soundly...mum and dad too ;-)
