Organic wool in a crib mattress= a good night’s sleep for the whole family

Who would have thought of using organic materials such as wool in a crib mattress? Well…we did of course.

Small babies are very temperature sensitive and cannot easily regulate their own body heat, they don’t like to get too hot or too cold and need an even temperature to be comfortable. Our crib mattresses do not contain any synthetic materials. Unlike synthetics, organic materials do not absorb heat or moisture and are naturally breathable and self ventilating, this helps to prevent overheating and dissipate moisture away from the body, meaning that babies are more likely to maintain an even temperature and less likely to wake during the night.

We only use certified organic wool. In fact, we obtain our wool directly from local farms within 50 miles of our Devon factory. Our concern is with the well-being of the babies that are sleeping on our mattress—and there is no sense in using non-organic wool that may have been treated with chemicals. In fact, our locally-grown wool is bathed in a mixture of lavender, lemon and eucalyptus rendering the mattress anti dust mite. These pesky critters are commonly associated with allergies and asthma, so this natural treatment means that your little one will be sleeping on a truly clean and healthy mattress.

So no allergies, no asthma, no sweat, no unhappy baby, which means a good night’s sleep for the whole family.

Who wouldn’t want that?
